With the ratification and introduction of blackball pool rules world-wide from January 2006, the English Pool Counties Federation (EPCF) has been re-named The English Blackball Pool Federation (EBPF).
The EBPF have described their purpose as follows : To manage, promote, and support the game of 8Ball Pool throughout England Act as the representative body for members in relation to International and other events. Host events in England on behalf of the European Blackball Association (EBA), World Pool Association (WPA) or any of their associated Organisations.
They have also proclaimed their commitment to.... Manage International teams. Manage County structure. Organise local, regional, and national team and individual events. Co-ordinate sponsorship and promotion of the Sport. Constantly develop the Sport.
It is the stated policy of this organisation to make all reasonable efforts to achieve these purposes.
Member 'counties' include : Berkshire, West Berks, Wiltshire, Somerset, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Middlesex, Essex, Cambridgeshire, East London, London, Surrey, Staffordshire, East Staffordshire and West Yorkshire.
